KIDS can go through some strange phases, so when 14-year-old Michael Perham successfully sailed solo across the Atlantic in 2006, becoming the youngest person ever to do so, I’d imagine his parents were relieved he’d got it out of his system.

But last year, would you believe, he decided to circumnavigate the planet, non-stop. Here’s how he got on.
