CORRIE: FIREWORKS SPARK AS JOE POPS QUESTION

BONFIRE Night is lit up when Joe McIntyre proposes to Gail Platt and she agrees to marry him.

The carpenter gets down on one knee and pops the question after planning a romantic evening on board his new boat,
which he’s named Gail Force in honour of his lover.

Joe (Reece Dinsdale, 50) surprises Gail (Helen Worth, 58) with a meal and champagne on the back of the boat, which is parked on the drive.

And he’s over the moon when she instantly says yes.

Meanwhile, troubled ex-I’m A Celebrity winner Kerry Katona, 29, has been dealt a blow to her hopes that she can
revive her career with a stint on Corrie.

Executive producer Kieran Roberts said: “We’re not currently looking at any other big stars.”
