HITLER TOY BREAKS GERMAN LAW
A GERMAN toy seller caused a storm by selling dolls of Adolf Hitler.
His World War Two-themed display gave collectors at a toy fair in Nuremberg a reich shock.[>
Plastic models of the Führer, giving his Nazi salute, were being offered for £4.50 each. [>
And there was an open-topped car containing the evil dictator and several SS bodyguards for £20.[>
The stall also offered tanks with swastikas, war bunkers and Luftwaffe aircraft.[>
[>
Organisers of the Spielwarenmesse International Fair were forced to close the stall after it was branded “filth” by the local press.[>
Under German law any memorabilia linked to the Nazis is illegal.[>
The stall-holder raged at a reporter: “I do not know what you want, you clown.”[>
Organiser Ernst Kick said: “We are furious. This breaches German law. [>
“The Hitler figures have disappeared and we are investigating.”[>
