PETER ANDRE: I'VE MOVED ON

PETER Andre says he has finally moved on from his ex-wife Kate Price.

The singer was speaking for the first time since his emotional live TV interview last week.

And the Aussie has emerged calm, confident and ready to tackle life as a single dad.

Just last Friday he broke down in tears as he told Sky News presenter Kay Burley, 48: “No-one will take my kids away from me.”

But as the 36-year-old prepares to face Valentine’s Day as a single man, it seems Britain’s most eligible bachelor could genuinely not be happier about it.

With an album of romantic love songs released in time for the big day, Peter tells all about what February 14 means to him – and takes the opportunity for a little dig at his ex Kate, 31. He reveals: “The most romantic Valentine’s Day I’ve ever had was with my ex-girlfriend Gillian. I was 23 and it was amazing in every way.

“I discovered things about candle wax, strawberries and melted chocolate I’d never experienced!”

Looking sexier than ever in these steamy new pictures, we’re sure the ladies will be lining up to be perfect Pete’s Valentine.

But he’s not interested in rushing into anything like his ex, who married cage-fighter Alex Reid, 34, in Las Vegas last week.

He laughs: “I’ve had some lovely cards from fans at some of my signings, but I’ve got no intention of calling anyone at the moment.

“The only person I will be sending a Valentine’s card to this year is my beautiful little daughter Princess. When I do become serious with someone I don’t want to flaunt it in people’s faces.

“I’m not going to be a monk for the next 20 years, though. I want to enjoy myself but it will be much more private.”

Pete says he had no advance warning of Kate’s whirlwind marriage to Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid.

He says: “It’s not my business. I got a phone call about 10.30pm when I was doing a signing in Basildon.

“I’ve completely moved on and I cannot tell you how good it feels to be single. After the divorce I thought I’d want to jump into a relationship, but I’m just not there yet.”

And despite the bitter split last year generous Pete only wishes well for Alex and Kate, alias Jordan, mother of his two children Princess, two, and Junior, four.

He adds: “I genuinely want Kate to be happy. I just hope that Alex is a good guy. I don’t have a problem with anyone – I never did.

“Like any parent what I care for is whether they are a good influence on my children and that’s all I can hope for.

“I’ve distanced myself from the whole circus. The kids will grow up and read things so I am always careful what I say.”

It has been an eventful start to 2010 and Pete is predicting it can only get better.

He adds: “This is probably going to be the biggest year I’ve had. My tour is completely sold out every night and I want to thank the fans for the life they have given me.

“The love album is out now, we’re filming for the next reality show and there’s a lot of TV happening over the summer.

“I’m also hosting backstage at this year’s Brit Awards.

“My female fragrance is still number one and I have a men’s fragrance out in time for Father’s Day in June.”
