WARREN GATLAND has warned bungling Alun-Wyn Jones he faces the chop for his madcap yellow card.


The Wales lock, 24, who is studying for a law degree, was found guilty of tripping Dylan Hartley by referee Alain Rolland at Twickenham.England racked up 17 points in his absence and Wales boss Gatland said his stupidity cost them the game.


“It has cost us 17 points,” he said.


“It’s a stupid thing to do and it was a massive turning point in the game.”
