Johnny Cash was so obsessed with his Highland roots he took the name of a Scottish king.


His daughter Rosanne, 54, said: “Whenever he visited hospital he did not check in as Johnny Cash – he went under the name of Malcolm.”


The singer, who died in 2003 aged 71, chose the name after ancestor King Malcolm IV.
