AVATAR is the number one film of all time for Brits, new figures reveal.


The 3D box office smash, which reportedly cost £1billion to make, has netted more than £71.6million in the UK since its release in December.


The film, starring Zoe Saldana, 31, as Neytiri, beats Britain’s former record holder, Mamma Mia! That is now the second highest grossing film of all time.


The third spot is held by Titanic.
