REVIEW: TONY
TONY (18)
THIS downbeat but undoubtedly mesmerising story of a sad serial killer on the prowl in the less media-ridden parts of north London is no bundle of laughs but, thanks to Peter Ferdinando’s extraordinary performance, it grips all the way. [>
[>
Ferdinando, who never does a “luvvie” or mugs for the camera, is chilling and all-too-scarily convincing as he slices victims’ innards before slinging them into a convenient canal. Writer/director Gerard Johnson is a talent to watch out for. [>

VERDICT: 8/10 [>
