CORRIE’S PERFECT COUPLE SPLIT UP

CORRIE lovebirds Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas have split after nearly six years.

Bad-boy hunk Ryan, who was questioned by police in connection with a drink-drive collision late last week, confirmed the break-up last night.

The 25-year-old, who plays cheeky builder ­Jason Grimshaw, refused to go into any details.

But his latest brush with the law is believed to have been the final straw.

Tina, 26, is looking after the couple’s one-year-old daughter Scarlett while they sort out the ­arrangements.

A source close to the ­couple said: “They moved in together when Tina ­discovered she was ­expecting Scarlett. Prior to that they’d never lived under the same roof.

“They’re both quite stormy characters so things have been quite strained for a while.

“All this business with the police really couldn’t have come at a worse time. In the end Tina decided enough was enough.

“Since she had Scarlett her priorities have ­definitely changed.

“She was furious that Ryan could have been involved in something like this.”

A Coronation Street spokeswoman said: “I can confirm that Ryan and Tina have split but neither wants to comment.”

Ryan has been ­ questioned over allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash last Saturday at 4am in Manchester.

He attended a police station on Friday but has not yet been charged with any offence.
