SAM SLAM FEAR

ABOVE: Burgess will be keeping an eye out
3rd November 2009

By Martin Richards

SAM Burgess knows he could be Public Enemy No.1 for Fuifui Moimoi when England take on New Zealand for a place in the Four Nations final.

Burgess left Moimoi concussed after a monster-hit on the Kiwi when making his debut back in 2007 – with footage of the tackle now a huge smash on YouTube.

The pair come head to head for the first time since that encounter at the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday to decide who
goes through to play Australia in the Elland Road final on Saturday week.

And Burgess admitted: “I think every team is looking to get that big hit on. I’ll be aware of it and I’ll be watching myself.

“It’s just one of those freak moments.”

But Moimoi said: “I’m not going to go after him, I’m going to do what’s best for the team.”
