FOO Fighters have warned fans to make the most of their MTV EMA performance.

Dave Grohl, 40, said: “I think we decided to take a break, not because we wanted to stop making music, but because we thought the world needed to take a break from us.”

The band treated 800 lucky punters to a secret pre-awards club show at Berlin’s Post Bahnhof.

Dave, who is concentrating on side project Them Crooked Vultures added: “After these European shows I don’t even know when I’m going to see these guys.”
