IGGY’S TASTY SECRET

ABOVE: PRESERVED: Iggy
4th November 2009

IGGY Pop reckons the reason he has lasted so long in music is he is as resilient as pâté.

After collecting his Classic Rock Living Legend Award, the 62-year-old said: “It’s a lot like being a pâté – they use a special substance to keep me preserved.

“Balls are what makes a great rock star.

“Every once in a while people need to reconnect with their savage selves.”

RONNIE Wood is chuffed to finally have a solo award for his mantelpiece.

The 62-year-old axeman was given the Outstanding Contribution title at the Classic Rock Awards.

Ronnie said: “I’m gonna have it stapled to my shoulder.

“It means a lot because I’ve never had one for myself.”
