SOUL man Maxwell made his fans in the capital wait over a decade for his Brooklyn-born butt to get back to Blighty.

Thankfully the slick tones are still in tact.

Slinking like a velvet cape wrapping around the crowd, Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder) , Til The Cops Come Knocking and Pretty Wings saw wobbly knees syndrome erupt.

Boyfriends and hubbies in the crowd looked like spare parts as the ladies swooned and Maxie crooned.

Next time fella, don’t leave it so long.
